Radioshack accepts rechargeable batteries with the following chemistries: Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, Li-ion, Ni-Zn, and Pb, weighing up to 11lbs/5kg per battery. They do not accept alkaline, non-rechargeable lithium or wet-cell batteries.
