Post Falls Police Department

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

In Kootenai County, the majority of our local law enforcement agencies participate in a prescription medication turn-in program. Green MedReturn Boxes, that resemble post office boxes, are located inside the lobbies of local police offices.  Call to confirm acceptable materials.

We will ACCEPT: ointments, lotions, liquids, medications from businesses/clinics, and inhalers.

Please NO: needles, aerosols, or thermometers. Please drop off used needles in a secured container, aerosols and thermometers at the Ramsey and Prairie Solid Waste Transfer Station.
